Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Global Finance Leader

About the role

Foodhub is seeking an exceptional Chief Financial Officer to join its Executive Leadership Team and drive the next phase of global growth. This is a commercially‑focused CFO role where you will partner closely with the CEO, influence strategic decisions and help scale the finance function across multiple continents.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and executive team to shape Foodhub’s long‑term business strategy.
• Provide commercial insight that supports key decisions across the UK, Ireland, USA, ANZ and India.
• Influence investment priorities, expansion plans and organisational growth.
• Act as a trusted advisor on financial, commercial and strategic matters.
• Develop and execute a global financial strategy that drives profitable growth while maintaining discipline.
• Lead long‑term financial planning, forecasting and budgeting.
• Support commercial initiatives through financial modelling and investment analysis.
• Oversee group financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance.
• Lead statutory reporting, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Strengthen governance, financial controls and risk‑management frameworks.
• Ensure the finance function scales with international expansion.

Required profile

• Senior finance leader with a commercial mindset and strong strategic thinking.
• Proven ability to balance high‑level strategy with hands‑on execution.
• Experience influencing C‑suite decisions and driving organisational change.
• Track record of building high‑performing, scalable finance teams.
• Comfort operating in a fast‑moving, founder‑led environment.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify complex financial data.
