Chief Financial Officer – High‑Growth Logistics Business

About the role

We are a fast‑growing logistics company aiming to triple revenue over the next 3–5 years. The Chief Financial Officer will partner directly with the founders to shape strategy, drive operational efficiency, and build a high‑performing finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with founders on growth strategy, investment decisions, pricing and customer profitability.
• Own all finance activities: management accounts, board reporting, cash‑flow management, budgeting and internal controls.
• Manage banking and funding relationships and ensure statutory, tax and audit compliance.
• Lead HR reporting and support systems transformation.
• Collaborate with operations to improve fleet, warehouse and labour productivity and margins.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Senior finance leadership experience in logistics, transport, supply‑chain or a similarly operational environment.
• Proven track record scaling high‑growth businesses and raising finance.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence strategic decisions.
• Hands‑on leadership style, comfortable operating both strategically and tactically.
