Chief Financial Officer – MedTech Distribution Platform

About the role

This is a hands‑on CFO position within a fast‑growing, PE‑backed MedTech distribution platform based in Dublin. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and the private‑equity owners, you will shape the finance function as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end finance function, including reporting, controls and process optimisation.
• Develop and maintain management information and KPI dashboards to support data‑driven decisions.
• Partner with the MD on commercial and strategic initiatives across the platform.
• Manage working capital, cash flow, and enforce cost discipline.
• Serve as the primary finance liaison for the PE owner, preparing board reports and updates.
• Support M&A activities, due diligence, and post‑deal integration.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Previous experience as CFO, Finance Director or senior finance leader in a high‑growth, PE‑backed or SME environment.
• Comfortable operating hands‑on in a founder‑led business while engaging with private‑equity stakeholders.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to influence at senior level.
• Excellent communication skills, able to build trust quickly with the MD and owners.
