Chief Operating Officer – Executive Leadership Role

About the role

The Chief Operating Officer will join the executive leadership team of a leading hospitality and foodservice brand operating across Ireland and the UK. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will drive operational performance, customer experience and commercial profitability across a large company‑owned estate.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and optimise multi‑site operations across a significant store network.
• Drive operational excellence, consistency and superior customer experience.
• Deliver strong commercial performance and operational profitability.
• Develop high‑performing operational leadership teams and succession pipelines.
• Enhance operational systems, reporting and performance visibility.
• Champion continuous improvement across people, process and execution.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team on growth and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Significant multi‑site leadership experience in hospitality, coffee, QSR, foodservice, contract catering or similar consumer‑facing businesses.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with responsibility for multi‑unit P&L performance.
• Proven track record of improving operational performance, consistency and scalability.
• Experience managing through regional, area or multi‑site structures.
• Ability to build high‑performing teams and strong operational cultures.
• Executive presence and credibility to influence senior leadership.
