Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

About the role

Foodhub is seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead its global technology strategy, platform development, and engineering organisation. Based in Dublin, the CTO will shape the long‑term technical vision while ensuring secure, reliable, and high‑performing products across all markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a global technology strategy aligned with business growth plans.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team to shape long‑term company strategy and innovation roadmap.
• Oversee design, development, and delivery of Foodhub’s core platform, products, and services.
• Ensure systems are scalable, resilient, and support global operations.
• Drive best practices in software development, architecture, and engineering excellence.
• Build, lead, and scale a high‑performing global engineering organisation.
• Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration across product, commercial, and technology teams.
• Travel internationally to support teams, align strategy, and drive execution.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior technology leadership roles, preferably within fast‑growing, international companies.
• Proven track record of scaling technology infrastructure and leading global engineering teams.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing C‑level executives.
• Willingness to relocate to Dublin and travel regularly across global markets.
