Civil Engineering Project Manager – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead the delivery of infrastructure and civil works projects from inception to completion in Cork. The role involves managing complex road, utilities and public‑realm projects while ensuring safety, quality and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project delivery against programme, budget and quality targets.
• Oversee site operations, subcontractors and engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, design teams and other stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, manage risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Prepare and review programmes, method statements and project reports.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience delivering civil engineering/infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage projects from planning through handover.
• Strong leadership, team management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Full driving licence.
