Client Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Client Accounting Manager to lead a portfolio of Republic of Ireland SME clients. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality accounting, tax and advisory services while supporting the firm’s growth in the Irish market.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Irish‑based clients, preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements under Irish GAAP.
• Oversee corporation tax, income tax and VAT compliance, and advise clients on related matters.
• Provide accounting, taxation and commercial advice, including payroll compliance (PAYE, PRSI, USC).
• Support cross‑border accounting and taxation issues and assist with new client onboarding.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, contributing to the growth of the Ireland‑based team.
• Participate in business development initiatives and networking activities.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CPA Ireland qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an accountancy practice serving SME clients.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation, taxation, VAT and payroll.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to provide practical business advice.
