Client Financial Accountant – Non‑Audit Role in Dublin

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, qualified accountant to join a specialist Irish practice firm. The role is non‑audit, based in Dublin city centre, and offers hybrid working up to four days a week. You will manage a portfolio of non‑audit clients while liaising with audit firms when required.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory financial statements for a diverse client base.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and produce accounts to review stage.
• Deliver corporate advisory services including M&A, restructurings, company formation and compliance.
• Prepare and file tax returns (CTO, VAT, payroll).
• Meet clients in person and virtually, providing professional advice.
• Handle general administration, filing and document control.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in an Irish SME practice or client accounting environment.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, CPA, ACCA) with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong understanding of Irish statutory requirements and corporate tax.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex financial data to non‑finance stakeholders.
