Clinical Research Physician - Oncology

About the role

Lilly is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Physician specializing in oncology to join its global development team. This remote position supports the full product lifecycle, from trial design through registration, commercialization, and post‑market activities, ensuring that innovative therapies reach patients safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design and oversee global late‑phase oncology clinical trials, including protocol development and execution.
• Prepare and review study reports, publications, and data dissemination materials.
• Support labeling updates, pricing, reimbursement, and market access documentation.
• Ensure adverse event reporting complies with patient‑safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with regulatory agencies (FDA, EMA) and external thought leaders to advance scientific strategy.
• Provide scientific expertise to study teams, contribute to business unit and global product strategy, and support medical activities for product launch.
• Maintain compliance with FDA, ICH, CPMP guidelines, Good Clinical Practice, and Lilly policies.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in oncology or related specialty.
• Extensive experience in clinical research, preferably in late‑phase oncology trials.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
• Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary, global teams.
