Cloud Engineer (IT System Administrator)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer who will also act as an IT System Administrator. Reporting to the Cloud Manager, you will support both on‑premises and Azure environments, ensuring reliability, performance, and security as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain existing Windows Server and Linux systems on‑premises and in Azure.
• Research, design, and implement new infrastructure components as required.
• Provide technical support to internal staff and external customers.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, and security, producing regular health reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Customer‑focused mindset and a desire for long‑term career growth.

Required skills

• Windows Server administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
• Linux administration (CentOS, Debian, Bash scripting)
• Networking fundamentals (IP, routing, firewalls, VPNs)
• Monitoring tools (Nagios, PRTG or similar)
• Scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI)
• Azure services: Azure AD, VM provisioning, VNETs, NSGs, VPN Gateway, Load Balancing, Key Vault, Blob/File/Disk storage, Backup & recovery, RBAC, Azure SQL/Managed Instances, Web Apps, Azure Monitoring/Database Watchers
• Microsoft 365 administration, Exchange Online, Microsoft Defender Suite, Security & Compliance
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIST CSF frameworks
