Commercial Account Executive

About the role

Gallagher Ireland is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join its Dublin office on a full‑time, permanent basis. You will work within a leading insurance brokerage, delivering tailored risk‑management solutions to commercial clients and helping them navigate complex insurance needs.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage client relationships, growing your portfolio and providing tailored insurance and risk‑management solutions.
• Negotiate with insurers to secure the best coverage and terms for clients.
• Manage workload to meet client deadlines and maintain up‑to‑date sales plans.
• Develop a robust sales pipeline to achieve targets and proactively seek new commercial opportunities.
• Collaborate with other Gallagher teams, fostering strong working relationships.
• Handle renewals, prepare submissions, and issue accurate policy documentation in a timely manner.
• Stay compliant with regulatory requirements, including CPD hours and codes such as CPC and AML/TF.
• Provide expert advice to clients on policy wordings, conditions, and exclusions.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Account Executive role within a brokerage or insurance environment.
• Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP) qualification, with progress towards an MDI qualification.
• Extensive knowledge of the commercial insurance market, products and services.
• Strong understanding of client markets and ability to tailor solutions.
