Commercial Finance Director

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Finance Director to lead commercial strategy for a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed organisation with an international footprint. Reporting to the Group CFO, you will partner with senior leadership and sales teams to drive revenue growth, improve profitability and support long‑term strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies that align with revenue and profit targets.
• Collaborate closely with sales leadership to enhance commercial performance and accountability.
• Lead pricing strategy and margin optimisation initiatives.
• Evaluate significant commercial opportunities, challenge assumptions and ensure robust deal governance.
• Identify and pursue new revenue growth opportunities across the business unit.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a Commercial Director, Head of Commercial, Commercial Finance Director or similar strategic commercial leadership role.
• Background in large corporate, multinational or private‑equity environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue and profitability improvements.
• Experience working closely with sales leadership and influencing commercial strategy.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive‑level leadership skills.
