Communications Specialist – Hybrid, Dublin

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Communications Specialist for a 4‑month contract (with potential extension) to join a leading technology organisation in Dublin. The role involves crafting high‑priority internal communications, producing newsletters and presentations, and supporting strategic change initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and distribute high‑priority communications to internal teams, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organisational goals.
• Create engaging monthly newsletters and visually compelling presentations for leadership meetings and town halls.
• Maintain and optimise communication channels, keeping internal sites and shared drives up‑to‑date and user‑friendly.
• Provide independent support on long‑term strategic initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve collaboration and change‑management processes.
• Monitor communication effectiveness through data analysis and sentiment tracking, delivering regular impact reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience drafting, editing and producing content across multiple mediums, including high‑stakes emails, executive presentations, newsletters and long‑form articles.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously with a high degree of independence and attention to detail.
• Track record of designing or overhauling communication channels, such as migrating platforms or redesigning templates.
• Strong understanding of communications best practices, audience segmentation, storytelling and brand voice consistency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with communication tools and analytics platforms to track engagement metrics.
• Ability to translate complex strategic concepts into simple, visual, persuasive narratives for diverse internal audiences.
