Company Accountant – Financial Services

About the role

Google is seeking a Company Accountant to join its International Controllership team. You will own end‑to‑end accounting processes, ensure statutory compliance, and partner with business units to drive financial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file statutory financial and tax statements in accordance with local regulations.
• Produce, analyse and interpret financial and budgetary reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain and enhance the financial control environment, identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Leverage AI, scripting and advanced automation tools to streamline reporting and control activities.
• Collaborate with global teams, acting as a business partner to support strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent practical experience).
• Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACA or ACCA.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience; 6 years preferred.
• Proven experience with IFRS and other international accounting standards.
• Strong problem‑solving, investigative abilities and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication, leadership and people‑management skills.
