Compliance Specialist

About the role

Fineco Asset Management DAC is seeking a Compliance Specialist to support its UCITS and AIFM activities in Dublin. The role will ensure that the firm’s policies, procedures and reporting meet MiFID, AIFM and other regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and update policies and procedures in line with MiFID/AIFM regulations.
• Act as the compliance representative on relevant projects and lead them when required.
• Advise the firm on MiFID/AIFM regulations, including performing gap analyses.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports for MiFID/AIFM compliance.
• Assist in drafting reports for committees and board meetings.
• Implement new processes with relevant departments (e.g., suitability, due diligence, investment advice).
• Provide second‑line defence by reviewing documentation for UCITS and AIFs for new fund launches, updates or periodic reviews.
• Oversee and audit delegates such as depositaries, external investment managers and transfer agents.
• Support the CCO and Compliance Managers in preparing reports for compliance committees, senior management, the Central Bank of Ireland and other stakeholders.
• Promote a strong compliance culture and provide backup cover for team members as needed.

Required profile

• Direct experience in a Super Manco (AIIM/MiFID top‑up).
• Relevant asset‑management or consultancy experience.
• Honours bachelor’s degree.
• Professional qualification related to compliance or finance.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of MiFID, AIFM and UCITS regulations.
• Experience with regulatory reporting and gap analysis.
• Strong audit and oversight capabilities.
