Construction Manager

About the role

CorkLead Group Ireland is seeking a Construction Manager to lead capital projects at a major pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. The role will oversee construction activities from planning through commissioning, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple capital construction projects across an active pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from planning and design through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams to achieve successful delivery.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site Health & Safety procedures.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality and construction progress.
• Identify and manage project risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and provide regular project updates.

Required profile

• Level 8 qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience managing construction projects within the pharmaceutical or other highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong civil, structural and architectural construction background.
• Proven experience managing projects through the complete project lifecycle.
• Excellent contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Full working rights within the EU; sponsorship not available.
