Construction Project Manager

About the role

JCD, a leading property development, investment and management firm, is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to take full ownership of multiple development projects from inception through to handover. You will be responsible for residential, large‑scale fit‑outs and commercial projects, ensuring they meet safety, time, budget and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects from inception to handover.
• Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets and resource plans.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage procurement processes and monitor contractor performance.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks.
• Maintain high standards of quality control throughout all construction phases.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management.
• Liaise with clients, design teams and local authorities.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in construction or development.
• Proven track record delivering residential and/or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and construction practices.
• Excellent project planning and organisational abilities.
• Effective leadership and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience in budget management.
