Consultant Cardiologist – Electrophysiology

About the role

We are partnering with a leading modern hospital in Ireland to recruit an experienced Consultant Cardiologist with a strong focus on cardiac electrophysiology. The role is based in a state‑of‑the‑art catheter laboratory where you will deliver specialist cardiac care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and oversee PCI, catheter ablation, cardiac pacing and device implantation procedures.
• Take full responsibility for patient care throughout the cath‑lab pathway.
• Provide comprehensive cardiology services at consultant level.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality clinical outcomes.

Required profile

• Specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) or equivalent EU/EEA or UK GMC specialist registration.
• Extensive consultant‑level experience in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology.
• Formal specialist training in electrophysiology is preferred.
• Legal right to live and work in Ireland (EU or UK citizenship preferred).
