Consultant – Food & Agribusiness

About the role

Farrelly Mitchell is seeking a Consultant to join its Food & Agribusiness Consulting Team. Based at the global headquarters in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, the role involves leading high‑impact client engagements across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with frequent international travel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of commercial and technical due‑diligence projects, ensuring outputs are on scope, on budget and on time.
• Assess assets, operations and markets, translating findings into clear, decision‑ready recommendations.
• Manage day‑to‑day client relationships and act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.
• Apply rigorous analytical frameworks and structured problem‑solving to complex agribusiness questions.
• Coordinate project teams and subject‑matter experts to exceed client expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience at a Big 4 or top‑tier consulting firm.
• Strong understanding of the food and agribusiness sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements and mentor junior consultants.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
