Contractor Business Analyst - Project Specialist (Hybrid)

About the role

MUFG Investor Services, which provides asset servicing solutions to the global investment management industry, is hiring a Contractor Business Analyst - Project Specialist (Hybrid) in Dublin. The role plays a central part in delivering the CoreConnect Programme, combining hands-on business analysis with coordinated delivery of project workstreams so that programmes are designed, implemented and embedded across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements gathering with business stakeholders, carry out process mapping, data definition and functional specification development for the technology platforms in scope.
• Support the Programme Manager in delivering workstreams, applying structured project management practices (plan, RAID, scope, schedule, dependencies, reporting).
• Translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories for configuration and testing teams.
• Coordinate solution design, build, testing (SITE2E/UAT), data migration, cutover and readiness activities.
• Support change management, including training coordination, communication inputs and business readiness assessments.
• Conduct impact assessments, identify gaps, propose solutions and ensure operational alignment ahead of go-live.
• Ensure quality assurance across documentation, testing outcomes and process sign-off.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Business, IT, Accountancy/Finance, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Ideally 7-10 years of combined experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager or hybrid role in technology or business transformation.
• Proven experience in ERP implementations and structured project delivery (Waterfall, Agile or Hybrid).
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors, and developing requirements, functional specifications, process flows, testing plans and readiness artefacts.
• Financial services, fund administration or banking experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Project management or BA certification (PMP, PRINCE2, CBAP) highly preferred.
• Process mapping (e.g. Visio, Nintex), requirements documentation and UAT/test management.
• PM/BA tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence and MS365.
• Knowledge of tier-1 TPRM and CLM platforms, sourcing technologies, data structures and integration concepts is advantageous.
