COUPA Technical/Functional Lead

About the role

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a COUPA Technical/Functional Lead to drive the design, development, and continuous improvement of its COUPA platform. The role supports global finance operations and collaborates closely with SAP and MuleSoft teams to ensure seamless end‑to‑end processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture design and major functional upgrades for the COUPA platform.
• Develop deep expertise in the full COUPA suite and use it to shape application and data frameworks.
• Follow COUPA’s iterative development methodology to deliver incremental value while guiding long‑term technical vision.
• Advise on architecture standards and patterns, ensuring clear communication across teams.
• Analyze defects in maintenance releases and provide robust functional resolutions.
• Prioritize, manage, and report progress on finance‑related initiatives.
• Collaborate with SAP and MuleSoft teams to define end‑to‑end requirements.
• Validate system change delivery, ensuring thorough testing and documentation.
• Design interfaces and support integration testing activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the SAP ecosystem.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, innovative and collaborative mindset aligned with PlayStation’s core values.
• Proven experience leading technical and functional initiatives on large‑scale finance platforms.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
