CRM Performance Marketing Specialist

About the role

The CRM & Performance Marketing Specialist will drive player engagement and retention for The National Lottery by leveraging data‑driven insights and our Braze marketing platform. Working within the Commercial team, you will coordinate content across web and app products and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise multi‑channel campaigns and customer journeys across CRM and performance marketing.
• Develop and execute a test‑and‑learn strategy to continuously improve campaign performance.
• Contribute to the Braze technical roadmap in partnership with BI and Digital teams.
• Configure data layers, tagging and analytics tracking for web and mobile platforms.
• Support A/B testing, QA processes and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Act as a primary user of the Strapi CMS, managing content for web and app products.
• Ensure all campaign and content updates comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience in CRM, martech or digital marketing.
• Hands‑on expertise with Braze (campaign execution and optimisation).
• Experience with a CMS (Strapi preferred) and mobile app ecosystems.
• Familiarity with event‑tagging frameworks such as Firebase or GA4 is a plus.
• Experience in a regulated industry is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and focused on quality delivery.
• Effective communicator with stakeholder‑management experience.
• Collaborative and comfortable working in cross‑functional teams.
