Cross-Product Abuse Analyst – Violent Extremism Enforcement

About the role
Google’s Trust & Safety team protects users across Search, Maps, Gmail, Ads and other products. As a Cross‑Product Abuse Analyst focused on violent extremism, you will become a subject‑matter expert, analyzing data, reviewing risky content, and shaping enforcement strategies that keep our ecosystem safe.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, investigate, and mitigate abusive or extremist content across multiple Google products.
- Collect, transform, and analyze large data sets to surface emerging threats.
- Build and maintain dashboards that track abuse trends and enforcement outcomes.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, legal, and policy teams to design scalable enforcement solutions.
- Review graphic, controversial, or offensive material and make policy‑based decisions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust & Safety, policy, or related fields.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to communicate findings to cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Excellent problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and attention‑to‑detail in a fast‑changing environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience building dashboards and visualizing data.
- Ability to script or program (e.g., Python) for automation and data processing.
