Customer Assistant (20 - 25 Hours)

About the role

Join Tesco’s store team on Pearse Street as a Customer Assistant, working 20‑25 hours per week. You will be the front‑line face of one of the UK and Ireland’s largest retailers, helping customers find the products they need and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Put customers first in every interaction and provide friendly, proactive service.
• Maintain product availability on the shop floor and in back‑room areas.
• Handle merchandise with care to preserve quality and presentation.
• Keep the store and back‑of‑house areas clean, tidy, and safe.
• Follow department routines, company policies, and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Support colleagues in other departments when needed.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about delivering natural, smile‑driven customer service.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Adaptable and resilient to changing business demands.
• Presentable, tidy, and able to maintain a professional appearance.
