Customer Assistant (30-35 hours)

About the role

Join Tesco, one of the UK and Ireland's largest retailers, as a Customer Assistant on Pearse Street. You will help deliver a wide range of products – from food to clothing and financial services – while providing friendly, efficient service to every shopper.

Key responsibilities

• Put the customer first in every interaction and build positive relationships.
• Ensure products and services are available and displayed correctly.
• Handle all merchandise with care to maintain quality.
• Keep the shop floor and back‑of‑house areas clean and tidy.
• Follow department routines, company policies and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Support colleagues by assisting in other departments when needed.

• Natural, proactive customer service with a friendly smile.
• Hard‑working, reliable and punctual.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to benefit customers.
• Adaptable and resilient to changing business demands.
• Capable of following verbal and written instructions.
• Presentable, tidy and professional appearance.
