Customer Assistant – Night Shift at Galway Shopping Centre

About the role

Join Tesco’s night team at the Galway Shopping Centre and help deliver a seamless shopping experience for customers when the store is closed to the public. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring that products are available, the store environment is clean, and the Tesco values are lived out every night.

Key responsibilities

• Put the customer first in every action and interaction.
• Maintain product availability and handle merchandise with care.
• Keep the shop floor and back‑of‑house areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Follow department routines, processes and health‑and‑safety policies.
• Support colleagues by assisting in other departments when needed.

Required profile

• Friendly, natural customer service with a proactive smile.
• Hard‑working and reliable, with good time‑keeping.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to benefit customers.
• Adaptable and resilient to changing business demands.
• Capable of following verbal and written instructions.
• Presentable, smart and tidy at all times.
