Customer Relations Officer

About the role

The Customer Relations Officer will join Irish Life’s Customer Relations Team, handling complaints from Health customers. You will work in a hybrid setting between Dublin City Centre and Cork, ensuring each interaction demonstrates genuine care and aligns with the Consumer Protection Code.

Key responsibilities

• Interact directly with customers to manage and resolve concerns and complaints in an empathetic, comprehensive manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet performance indicators, service standards, and quality measures.
• Analyse complaints data, share insights, and educate teammates on emerging trends.
• Work with front‑line teams to identify and eliminate recurring sources of dissatisfaction.
• Ensure all complaint handling complies with Irish Life Health’s processes and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to understand complex situations and convey information clearly.
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Good technical knowledge of financial services, preferably insurance products.
