Customer Service Assistant (Part‑Time) – Edgeworthstown

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, part‑time Customer Service Assistant to join our shop in Edgeworthstown. You will help create a welcoming environment, process bets and transactions, and support the Shop Manager in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with day‑to‑day store activities.
• Open and close the shop, ensuring all cash‑handling procedures are followed.
• Accept and process customer bets via betting terminals and the EPOS system.
• Maintain high standards of shop presentation and cleanliness.
• Guide the team in the absence of senior managers, including cash management and staff coordination.
• Promote the brand and introduce customers to multi‑channel and online betting options.

Required profile

• Customer‑service oriented with a helpful and friendly attitude.
• Trustworthy, reliable and able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic about sport and betting, able to build rapport with customers.
• Willing to learn and develop within a fast‑paced retail environment.

Required skills

• Experience with EPOS systems for transaction processing.
• Cash handling and basic accounting procedures.
