Customer Service Assistant – Retail (Edenderry)

About the role

You will deliver an outstanding customer experience in a fast‑paced retail betting environment. Working closely with the Shop Manager and team, you will help keep the store running smoothly while handling bets and cash transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with daily store operations.
• Open and close the shop, ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Manage cash handling, EPOS transactions and betting terminals accurately.
• Guide the shop team in the absence of senior managers.
• Maintain high presentation standards and compliance with safety and social responsibility policies.
• Promote the brand and introduce customers to multi‑channel and digital betting options.

Required profile

• Customer‑service oriented with strong numeracy and attention to detail.
• Trustworthy, adaptable and able to work 7 days a week.
• Enthusiastic team player with a keen interest in sport and betting.
• Ambitious, reliable and eager to progress within the company.

Required skills

• Experience using EPOS systems.
• Familiarity with betting terminals and cash‑handling procedures.
