Data Protection and Privacy Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Data Protection and Privacy Consultant to join our Consulting Division in Ireland. You will work within a collaborative team delivering GDPR and privacy advisory services, including occasional on‑site DPO assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple client engagements, providing advice on GDPR compliance, data protection impact assessments and legitimate interest assessments.
• Lead scoping meetings, develop tailored project plans, and oversee fieldwork while guiding junior staff.
• Draft reports with recommendations, conduct day‑to‑day DPO activities, and summarise analysis results for clients.
• Support business development by preparing proposals and tender responses.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of experience delivering privacy advice, consultancy or compliance solutions.
• Strong client‑engagement skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Proven success in project management and team leadership.
• Data protection qualification or equivalent knowledge of GDPR and related legislation.
