Day Porter / Concierge – Guest Services

About the role

The Grace Westport Estate is seeking a friendly and professional Day Porter/Concierge to join its opening team in Spring 2026. You will be the first point of contact for guests, helping to create memorable, personalised experiences throughout their stay on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, visitors and vendors with a warm, genuine demeanor.
• Plan and book personalised itineraries, including excursions, dining reservations, transport and local experiences.
• Provide informed recommendations on attractions, entertainment and estate facilities.
• Assist with luggage handling on arrival and departure as needed.
• Manage telephone, email and in‑person guest requests, ensuring timely follow‑up.
• Maintain a tidy, well‑stocked concierge area and handle mail, courier and delivery coordination.
• Record guest preferences, bookings and service requests accurately.
• Promote hotel services, upsell room categories and cross‑sell estate experiences.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Accommodation, Food & Beverage and external partners to deliver seamless service.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the local area and ability to craft high‑value guest recommendations.
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Service‑driven mindset with proactive, solution‑oriented approach.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to service standards.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
