About the role
The position is for a Dermatology Registrar working in public hospitals across Ireland. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality dermatological care and will be responsible for patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, high‑quality medical care.
- Assess, diagnose and manage dermatology patients in line with best clinical practice.
- Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation and conduct admission/discharge assessments.
- Request, review and interpret diagnostic investigations.
- Develop, implement and monitor individualized treatment plans.
- Communicate professionally with patients, families and healthcare colleagues.
- Participate in clinical audits, risk‑management initiatives and data reporting.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, European Working Time Directive and Irish legislation.
- Adhere to statutory, regulatory and organisational policies, including Dignity at Work and Flexible Working schemes.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by supervising consultants or clinical directors.
Required profile
- General IMC registration.
- Full MRCPI or MRCP (UK) qualification, or currently undertaking these exams.
- Proven experience in dermatology.
- IELTS overall band 7 (minimum 6.5 in each component) or OET Grade B.
- Availability to start in July 2026.
