DevOps Architect

About the role

The DevOps Architect will design and deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performing solutions for BOI across hybrid on‑premises and cloud environments. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and governance boards to ensure architecture aligns with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end architecture and technical solutions that are scalable, resilient, and cost‑effective.
• Analyse the existing BOI landscape and define integration strategies between legacy systems and modern cloud platforms.
• Implement AWS‑based solutions following best practices for performance, security, and cost optimisation.
• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, and GitHub Enterprise.
• Apply containerisation and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for application deployment.
• Implement security architecture, controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Create high‑quality PowerPoint presentations and documentation for architecture governance forums.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and present solutions to Architecture Review Board and Cloud/Data/Design Authority.

Required profile

• Strong experience in DevOps architecture and cloud‑native solutions.
• Deep understanding of AWS services and architecture patterns.
• Hands‑on expertise with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
• Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration technologies.
• Solid understanding of security architecture and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to operate in enterprise‑scale, hybrid environments.
