DevOps Architect

About the role

The DevOps Architect will design and deliver end‑to‑end technical solutions that align with business objectives. This role focuses on creating scalable, resilient, and cost‑effective architectures across on‑premises and cloud environments, primarily using AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design comprehensive architecture and solution blueprints that meet business requirements.
• Analyse the existing BOI landscape across on‑premises and cloud platforms and define integration strategies for legacy and modern systems.
• Implement AWS‑based solutions, optimizing for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, and GitHub Enterprise.
• Apply containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration.
• Implement security architecture, controls, and governance to ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards.
• Create high‑quality PowerPoint presentations and documentation to communicate designs.
• Present solutions to architecture governance forums and collaborate with cross‑functional and senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing end‑to‑end solutions in hybrid on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of integration between legacy systems and modern cloud architectures.
• Hands‑on experience establishing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
