DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Kubernetes (Ireland)

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a high‑performing engineering team in Ireland. You will design, automate, and maintain scalable infrastructure for large‑scale digital platforms, working across cloud and on‑premises environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and promote modern DevOps practices to improve collaboration between development, QA, and operations.
• Deploy, manage, and optimise Kubernetes clusters in both cloud and on‑premises settings.
• Build, maintain and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC and CaC methodologies.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and performance‑optimisation solutions.
• Administer Linux‑based infrastructure, ensuring security, availability and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot production issues and enhance platform reliability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar automation role.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Configuration as Code (e.g., Ansible).
• Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code in cloud environments, preferably AWS with Terraform.
• Strong background in designing, configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Advanced Linux system‑administration skills and solid networking knowledge (routing, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, firewalls).
