Digital Marketing & Media Execution Director

About the role

Reporting to the Digital Growth & Analytics Sr. Director, you will lead SodaStream’s global Digital Marketing and Media Execution agenda. The role transforms performance‑media execution into a full‑funnel digital growth engine, connecting brand, DTC, analytics and market teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern the global digital marketing and media strategy across the full funnel.
• Expand capabilities from lower‑funnel media to integrated upper‑funnel activation, audience orchestration and conversion optimization.
• Lead frameworks for paid media, SEO, social, content adaptation, influencer ecosystems and campaign execution.
• Build test‑and‑learn capability across markets, including A/B testing and performance optimization.
• Partner with Loyalty, Analytics, DTC and Creative teams to deliver personalized consumer journeys.
• Establish advanced measurement, attribution and conversion governance.
• Manage agency ecosystem strategy and performance, focusing on business impact and capability transfer.
• Scale in‑house digital capabilities and enable faster market execution.
• Identify and scale emerging digital capabilities such as AI‑enabled media optimization.

Required profile

• MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Strategy or Digital.
• 12+ years of leadership experience in digital marketing, media, growth or eCommerce.
• Proven track record building full‑funnel digital marketing organisations.
• Experience operating in global and local market environments with strong stakeholder influence.
• Exposure to omnichannel consumer businesses (FMCG, DTC, retail hybrid) preferred.
