About the role
Bentley Systems is looking for a senior leader to shape and own the strategy for its community ecosystem. Reporting at a senior level, you will drive the evolution of the Communities Hub and create a connected experience for developers, users and customers across digital and in‑person touchpoints.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute Bentley’s overall community strategy for developers, users and customers.
- Oversee the Communities Hub to ensure it is intuitive, active and delivers value.
- Lead the development of the developer community, partnering with product, technical and marketing teams to create tailored engagement models.
- Integrate programs such as user groups, Coffee Corners, CABs, events and meet‑ups into a cohesive community experience.
- Translate community feedback into actionable insights for programming, communications and future investment.
- Manage and develop a small, high‑impact team responsible for day‑to‑day execution of community initiatives.
- Act as a player‑coach, setting direction while staying hands‑on to guide quality and execution.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in community marketing or related fields.
- Strong track record of building and scaling developer or user communities.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills with product, engineering and marketing stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into concrete programs.
- Experience managing small teams and driving execution in a fast‑moving environment.
