Director, Labor Relations – EMEA & LATAM

About the role
LinkedIn is seeking a senior leader to define and drive its labour relations agenda across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. Based in Dublin, you will work in a hybrid model, partnering with HR, Legal and business executives to balance compliance with commercial ambition.
Key responsibilities
- Shape and implement a consistent labour relations strategy for EMEA and LATAM.
- Lead engagement with works councils, employee representatives and unions.
- Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on labour risks linked to organisational redesign, M&A, technology rollout and compensation changes.
- Support collective bargaining processes and ensure consultation obligations are met.
- Collaborate with business units to enable transformation initiatives while maintaining trusted employee relationships.
Required profile
- Extensive experience leading labour relations in multinational companies.
- Strong track record of advising senior executives on complex labour matters.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change programmes such as restructurings, mergers and technology implementations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
Required skills
- In‑depth knowledge of European and Latin American labour legislation.
- Expertise in works council and union engagement.
- Proficiency in risk assessment and mitigation related to labour issues.
- Strategic thinking with a commercial orientation.
