Director of Quality

About the role

The Director of Quality will lead the company’s quality function, embedding a culture of excellence across all operations. Reporting to senior management, this role ensures that products and services meet internal standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality management strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee all quality assurance and control processes, monitoring metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal regulations, and emerging legislation.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and supply‑chain teams to maintain high quality standards.
• Conduct regular internal audits and assessments, identifying areas for improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and develop quality teams across the organization.
• Facilitate customer visits, factory acceptance tests (FATs), inspections, and external audits.
• Manage systems for tracking and resolving customer complaints and quality queries.
• Maintain and renew ISO 9001 and ISO 1702 certifications.
