Director of Sales (EMEA Hyperscale Accounts)

About the role

As Director – Sales you will lead the hyperscale key‑account strategy across the EMEA region, partnering with regional leaders and global account teams to drive growth, profitability and deep customer engagement throughout the data‑centre project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Sell Wesco Anixter’s Data Center solutions and services—including structured cabling, physical security, electrical solutions, high‑density liquid cooling, networking, IoT and Pro‑AV—across a defined territory.
• Develop and execute account strategies, growth plans and profitability targets for hyperscale customers.
• Coordinate early‑stage engagement with architects, engineers, contractors and consultants to align solutions with project requirements.
• Build and maintain partnerships with internal business units and strategic vendors to enhance value‑add sales and project identification.
• Manage customer relationships, ensure satisfaction, and resolve post‑sale issues.
• Utilise sales management tools for planning, forecasting and documenting opportunities.
• Monitor competitive landscape, market trends and communicate insights to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of professional sales experience in the data‑centre or related technology industry.
• 5+ years of experience leading and managing staff or programs at a national, district or regional level.
• Strong commercial leadership, stakeholder engagement and strategic planning abilities.
