Early Childhood Educator – Full‑time, On‑site in Kildare

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our Kildare centre on a full‑time, on‑site basis. You will create a safe, inclusive and play‑based environment that supports children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate, play‑based learning activities for children.
• Supervise and engage children in individual and group settings, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
• Maintain daily routines for meals, rest, and play in line with centre policies.
• Observe, document and communicate children’s progress to families and staff.
• Contribute to classroom planning and centre‑wide initiatives.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and experience in a creche, daycare or preschool setting.
• Creativity in designing engaging, play‑based activities and an inviting classroom.
• Excellent organisational abilities to manage routines, materials and records.
• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field meeting local regulations.
• Understanding of child safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusive practice.
• Effective verbal and written communication and a collaborative team attitude.
• Flexibility, reliability and genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and wellbeing.
