About the role
This position is for a Business and Irish teacher at Gaelcholáiste Cheatharlach, an Irish‑speaking secondary school. The role is fixed‑term, covering a career break, and involves delivering 11 hours of Business and 11 hours of Irish per week.
Required profile
- Current registration with the Teaching Council of Ireland and a valid registration certificate.
- Demonstrated professional knowledge of the subject disciplines and relevant pedagogy.
- Evidence of high‑quality teaching practice, including lesson planning, classroom management and assessment for learning.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with students, parents, colleagues and the wider school community.
