Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing engineering consultancy in Cork. This position is ideal for a junior‑level engineer who wants to deepen technical expertise while working on a variety of multidisciplinary building‑services projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical designs for commercial and residential building services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated M&E solutions.
• Produce and review design documentation using industry‑standard software.
• Participate in mentorship programmes and receive chartership support.
• Contribute to project meetings and communicate design intent to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Interest or experience in electrical building services or M&E consultancy environments.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Eagerness to learn, develop professionally and progress within the consultancy.
