Energy Engineer – Industrial Energy Management

About the role

EM3 is seeking an Energy Engineer to support senior consultants in delivering high‑quality energy management services to large‑scale industrial clients. Based in Limerick with a hybrid work model, you will work directly with customers to identify cost‑saving opportunities, improve sustainability, and drive decarbonisation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting energy audits and developing climate‑action strategies for industrial sites.
• Prepare detailed energy opportunity calculations, audit reports and presentation decks.
• Produce feasibility studies, M&V reports and energy‑efficient design reviews.
• Provide expert advice on renewable energy solutions, energy‑efficiency measures and sustainability programmes.
• Develop customised energy plans that include cost‑saving initiatives and renewable system recommendations.
• Monitor industry regulations and grant opportunities, ensuring client compliance and leveraging funding where appropriate.
• Support business development activities and prepare client‑facing reports that highlight ROI and environmental benefits.
