Equipment Maintenance Technician – Level 3

About the role

Analog Devices is seeking a Technician 3 to join its cleanroom class‑10 wafer fabrication facility in Limerick. You will support the repair, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of a wide range of high‑tech manufacturing equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned and unplanned repairs on equipment such as implanters, deposition platforms, wet benches and furnaces.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and component‑level fault finding to restore equipment functionality.
• Assist in tool development, enhancement projects and preventive‑maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with mentors and team members to investigate hardware issues and present findings.
• Follow technical manuals, schematics, drawings and standard work procedures.

Required profile

• Education progressing toward a bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 7/8) or a Level 6 technical qualification with relevant experience.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment or equipment‑maintenance role.
• Demonstrated analytical troubleshooting skills (Root Cause Analysis, 5‑Why, problem solving).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on a rotating shift schedule.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
