Events & Marketing Executive

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Events & Marketing Executive to join a leading city‑centre organisation in Dublin. The role will focus on creating and delivering vibrant events, activations and campaigns that bring the city’s business community to life.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver events, activations and campaigns across Dublin city centre.
• Support pre‑ and post‑event management, including proposals, planning, licensing, funding and execution.
• Manage relationships with member businesses and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate suppliers, venues, vendors, external event teams, security and logistics.
• Assist with event budgets in collaboration with the Head of Marketing.
• Work with external advertising agencies to promote events.
• Support social media content creation and marketing activities.
• Create basic event visuals, proposals and reports using Canva.
• Prepare post‑event feedback reports and analyse event performance.
• Keep website content, event listings, blog posts and business listings up to date.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for events and activations.
• Creative flair with a strong eye for visuals, event setup and design.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong writing ability for marketing copy and event communications.
• Energy, enthusiasm and confidence to bring fresh ideas.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, small‑team environment.
• A real love for Dublin city, its culture and its business community.
