About the role
We are seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high‑level support to the CEO and a Senior Director within the Business Development (M&A) function of a leading organisation in Cork City. This 14‑month maternity‑cover role is based in a fast‑paced, international environment and requires a proactive, highly organised professional.
Key responsibilities
- Manage complex diaries for senior leadership, resolving conflicts and prioritising commitments.
- Coordinate meetings end‑to‑end, preparing agendas, briefing materials, minutes and follow‑up actions.
- Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare presentations, reports and correspondence to a high standard.
- Arrange travel, process expenses and ensure compliance with company policy.
- Maintain trackers and governance documents to ensure visibility and follow‑through.
- Provide broader administrative and project support as needed.
- Identify and support process improvements and better ways of working.
- Assist with structured documentation and handover to ensure continuity during the contract period.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant supporting senior leaders.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion, professionalism and sound judgement.
- Experience in fast‑paced or multi‑stakeholder environments is desirable.
