About the role

Join The Johnstown Estate’s hospitality team as an Experienced Food & Beverage Assistant. You will work across our restaurant, bar, banqueting and room‑service outlets, delivering polished, guest‑focused service in a 4‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, serve and clear tables while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Provide knowledgeable advice on menus, wine pairings and dietary requirements.
• Process orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
• Support senior staff in shift operations and collaborate with kitchen and bar teams.
• Assist with stock control, inventory management and restocking of supplies.
• Handle guest requests and feedback promptly, exceeding expectations.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years’ experience in a similar F&B role within a 4‑star or luxury hotel.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with a passion for guest satisfaction.
• Professional appearance, flexible availability for shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Team‑player with problem‑solving ability and composure under pressure.
