Facade Lead – Site Façade Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Façade Lead to manage all façade‑related activities on a construction site. The role ensures productivity, safety, quality and coordination across multiple trades while proactively addressing design issues and material logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain consistent productivity across all façade trades and monitor daily progress against programme targets.
• Lead daily planning, programming, reporting and review sessions with foremen and coordinate with the Senior Coordinating Engineer to resolve design issues early.
• Collaborate with the Design Team to agree on technical solutions and ensure alignment across disciplines.
• Provide daily updates and progress reports to the Site Manager and Project Manager and communicate clearly with suppliers, trades and internal teams.
• Manage ordering, delivery and on‑site stock of façade materials, track usage and anticipate future needs.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, promote a strong safety culture and work with the Safety Team to uphold high standards.
• Establish benchmark standards for façade details, communicate expectations, document and track snagging, and ensure high workmanship quality.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and coordination abilities with excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Proactive approach to identifying and solving design issues.
• Solid understanding of façade systems, sequencing and construction methodologies.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Previous experience in a façade‑focused supervisory or lead role on a live construction site.
• Proven track record of managing multiple trades and working with design teams to coordinate technical solutions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of façade construction methods and material management.
• Experience with site planning, progress reporting and safety inspections.
