Facility Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our manufacturing areas and support facilities. You will be the first line of response for technical issues, helping to keep production running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot production machinery, including PLC‑based equipment.
• Develop and implement procedures that improve inventory control, reduce waste, and streamline workflow.
• Collaborate with management to align maintenance priorities with business needs.
• Monitor and optimise facility and equipment spending, seeking cost‑saving opportunities.
• Design, update, and execute emergency response plans to uphold safety standards.
• Perform regular preventative engineering work and corrective repairs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar manufacturing maintenance role.
• Fully qualified Electrician (National Craft Senior Trades or equivalent).
• Experience in a regulated, high‑output environment is preferred.
• Residency and work eligibility for full‑time employment in Ireland.
